Dernière partie de l'échantillon, tissée sans les fils fins (aussi retirés de la chaîne). L'étoffe est plus souple mais les couleurs ressortent moins.
À mon avis, l'ajout de fils fins supplémentaires convient pour les tissus plus raides comme ceux d'ameublement mais pas pour les tissus souples.
Second part of the sampler, woven without the fine threads (also cut off from the warp). The cloth has a smoother drape and softer colours.
I would add fine threads for weaving upholstery or any other kind of stiffer fabric but not for anything that needs to remain soft.
